Eva Knutz

Eva Knutz is associate professor and co-founder of the Social Design Unit, at the University of Southern Denmark. She is interested in methodologies of practice-based design research and cross-disciplinary exchanges between social design, participatory design, fiction and anticipatory design. In particular, she has a keen interest in politics of participation and how to involve citizens in co-design processes that can support health and sustainable transitions for the individual household, the local community or society at large. Her portfolio reflects an intensive collaboration with public sector institutions, NGO’s as well as industry – through which a number of design ethnographic tools, prototypes and services have been developed, evaluated, and implemented.
